Queer Words
Gay and lesbian universes. Queer Words is the section of this blog in which we expand information about some words that we are finding during the realization of our Gay and Lesbian Dictionaries. The subtitle we have given to this section does not delimit the scope of words, but it is part of our effort to appropriate those words that have done so much damage, to remove that negative charge with their explanation and history, and sometimes with some humor.The words used to attack sexual diversity tell us about the societies that use them and the times in which they originated, and sometimes the information they offer us opens doors to other worlds that are in this, more or less hidden. In others, we find words or concepts present in most societies or so unique and special that deserve to be highlighted.
